Steps to Purchase and Build a Bamboo Home:
1. Contact Eco Landings at info@ecolandings.com or by phone at 303-478-5151. As representatives for Bamboo Technologies, we can answer your questions and start the process of buying and building your bamboo home.
2. Tour a bamboo home. Get a glimpse of what it’s like to live in a bamboo home! We can help to arrange for you to see a bamboo home that has been built and is currently being enjoyed by the owner.
3. Decide on your home. There are many options for each home, such as an extended porch, deck railings and interior finishes. We can assist you in putting together the bamboo home of your dreams!
4. Review your budget for the entire project. We can help you determine the total cost of your home. Costs to consider include permits, platform, roofing, floors, electrical, plumbing, doors, etc.
5. Sign applicable contracts and provide a deposit. Sign your contract(s) and provide a 50% deposit (based on the total cost of the home). Depending on building location, mortgages may be available.
6. Order your home. Once you place your order, your Bamboo home is built (assembled then disassembled) at the factory in Vietnam. Typically, your house should ship in about 3-6 months after you place the order. The home is shipped to the port nearest you. Shipping takes about one month.
7. Prepare for the arrival of your home. Work with a local contractor to prepare the lot for building (lot clearing, platform/slab preparation, well/septic, etc). Make arrangements for other services (flooring, roofing, plumbing, electrical) to complete the build-out of your home.
8. Provide 50% final payment. When the home is shipped you are responsible for paying the remaining 50% of the cost of the home plus shipping and tax (other applicable tariffs and fees may apply). Bamboo Technologies coordinates shipping and notifies you with the approximate date of arrival.
9. Assemble the home. Depending on the size of your home, this will take approximately 4-10 days. One of our consultants should be hired to supervise your local construction crew. This will ensure quality home assembly in the shortest time.
